Bom Israel Mengintai Anak-Anak Gaza

Serangan Zionis Israel ke Jalur Gaza tidak mengenal belas kasihan. Mereka membunuh apa saja, termasuk kaum perempuan dan anak-anak. Anak-anak di Gaza bukan hanya harus merenggang nyawa, mereka yang selamat mengalami trauma psikologis yang tidak ringan.

Jumlah warga Palestina yang gugur syahid akibat serangan Israel di Jalur Gaza sudah mencapai 400 orang dan 27 diantaranya adalah anak-anak.

Satu keluarga Palestina, kehilangan lima anak perempuannya sekaligus, salah satunya bayi berusia 14 bulan ketika pesawat-pesawat tempur Israel membombardir sebuah masjid dekat rumah keluarga tersebut di kota Jabaliya. Di kota Rafah, tiga anak laki-laki juga menjadi korban serangan brutal Zionis Israel.

"Anak-anak saya sangat ketakutan. Kami masih tidak berani keluar rumah. Tidak ada tempat yang aman," kata Faysal Shawa, seorang ayah yang sehari-harinya bekerja konstruksi di Gaza.

"Gaza ini wilayah yang kecil. Saat Israel membombardir kami, rasanya seperti membombardir rumah-rumah kami," sambung Shawa ayah dari dari tiga anak.

Ia mengatakan, warga Palestina di Gaza sudah biasa menghadapi serangan-serangan Israel. Tapi serangan kali ini sangat mengerikan. "Serangan ini serangan terburuk selama 18 bulan belakangan ini. Selama ini kami sudah hidup dalam kesulitan. Kami kekurangan makanan, air bersih dan tidak ada listrik," papar Shawa.

Bagi anak-anak, ini seperti hidup neraka. Situasi ini harus dihentikan sekarangan juga," tukasnya.

Hazem Sami Rikhawi, 20, seorang mahasiswa di Gaza menjadi saksi bagaimana bom-bom Israel menghujam tubuh anak-anak Gaza. Ia menyaksikan bom yang dijatuhkan dari pesawat tempur Israel menghancurkan sebuah tempat pelatihan yang dikelola UNRWA, lembaga bantuan PBB untuk Palestina.

"Tiba-tiba, sebuah misil besar jatuh diantara anak-anak perempuan di tempat itu. Dua diantara mereka gugur syahid," kata Rikhawi bercerita dari tempat tidur di rumah sakit, karena ia juga menjadi korban misil itu.

Salah satu korban yang syahid itu adalah sahabat Rakhawi. "Ia mengalami pendarahan dari mulut dan hidungnya. "Kalimat terakhir yang keluar dari mulutnya, 'selamat aku Hazem'. Saya tidak akan pernah melupakan sorot mata dan suaranya yang kesakita meminta tolong." tutur Rikhawi.

What Zainah Anwar must know.

Its funny if you ever asked a lorry driver about flying an aircraft.

Although if the lorry driver had the knowledge,if he has the aircraft operation manual and any sort of that,he will never know how to fly an aircraft unless if he undergoes a proper training course,that is conducted by appropriate and qualified teachers and instructors.

It is a known fact,that a teacher is a teacher,as he or she is qualified and is possessing certain certifications that are needed in order to become a teacher.A mother,however lenient and soft spoken she is,however creative in making her son understanding something;she is not to be mandated the job as a teacher,as she does not possess the required knowledge,though she knows what she is doing,and she has the skills of a good teacher.

It is the same goes to Islam.It is logical to have only the most well versed,the most knowledgeable person about its fundamentals,its laws,and its philosophy to talk and to teach about it.

That is why I think Zainah Anwar is confused when she wrote this in an article called Modern and Moderate,Islam,in AsiaWeek,16 September,1997:

"Women's groups, which criticize the shariah system and offer alternative interpretations of the Koran on issues of equality and justice, are often condemned by those who believe...only the ulama (Muslim theologians) have the right to speak about religious matters."

Of course only the ulama have the right to speak,they are the only ones who understand!I do not know why this has to be such an issue the those liberalists.

Come on.Even a child can understand this.

I apologize if this statement is a bit harsh to those who are reading.It is my only hope that I can propagate the true understanding of Islam to others.

Liberal Islam

Liberal Islam is a new set of thinking that has influenced mostly Muslim 'intellectuals',as they are being referred with.Usually their views show that whether they are not really understand the basics of Islamic teaching,or that they choose to be 'critical',or rather radical;about the true teaching of Islam.

Definition

Liberal,according to dictionary.com,means

Islam on the other hand means submission to Allah,the only God.It is also mean peace.According to dictionary.com,Islam means:

1. A monotheistic religion characterized by the acceptance of the doctrine of submission to God and to Muhammad as the chief and last prophet of God.
2.
1. The people or nations that practice Islam; the Muslim world.
2. The civilization developed by the Muslim world.

In easy words,Liberal Islam means a doctrine,an ideology that liberalize the understanding of Islam.They want a new interpretation of the Quran,amendment to the Islamic laws,and such.But having said that,Liberal Islam 'believers' deny about being deviated from the true faith (aqidah) of Islam,which profess that there is no god but Allah,and prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His messenger,and it is his way of practicing and understanding Islam,is the way that we Muslim must follow.

Islam and Liberal Thinking

By having the definitions above,it is as if Islam does not recognize mind as a medium of progressing oneself.This false understanding is made worse when there are parts of Muslim countries that does not uphold the true understanding of Islam,and govern their countries' law in a such un-Islamic manner but then,still boast that they use Islam as their core value.For instance,the Taliban,when they were in power,they made a law that prohibits ladies from working,whereas there is no such law in Islam.As a result,Islam being portrayed as if it is oppressing the social value,and human rights.

The true teaching of Islam is actually against that.The liberty of thinking is highly appreciated in Islam,as it is stated in:

يَرۡفَعِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنكُمۡ وَٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ دَرَجَـٰتٍ۬‌ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ ۬

"Allah will exalt those who believe among you, and those who have knowledge, to high ranks. Allah is Informed of what ye do."

It is not wrong to think.But it is wrong to do reasoning and logical approach in understanding the ghaib (the Unseen).It is a basic understanding in Islamic faith.

Allah,The Creator,He knows what is the best for us.Therefore it is not for us to think why He made this wajib,or that haram.Sure,it sounds like an oppressing religion.But for Muslims,it is an act of giving all,the willingness,the understanding that from Allah we came,and to Allah we will shall return.

The Confusing Book of Charles Kurzman

Hi there.

Salam'alaikum.

Recently i have read a book titled Islam Liberal-Sejarah,Konsepsi,Penyimpangan,dan Jawapannya written by Adian Hussaini,an Indonesian writer.A critical thinker,Adian dwells on the issues of "Liberal Islam",an ideology that claims to uphold modern thinking in Islam.

It is common to this type of thinkers,that they read the book of Charles Kurzman,Liberal Islam as a reference.The term "Liberal Islam",according to Kurzman,is a contradiction in term.As the word Islam means submission to Allah,and subjection to the path of the Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him).In this case,according to Kurzman,Islam does not encourage free and positive thinking and does not recognize the usage of mind to its maximum potential,in other words does not allow critical thinking.

Islam,actually allows and even encourages critical thinking.Besides submitting to Allah as The Only God,Islam actually exempts its followers from worshiping idols,and other kinds of paganism and polytheism.In according to that,there are various chapters in the Quran that state the importance of knowledge.The first five verses that revealed to Prophet Muhammad is also about the importance of knowledge,and its need to be parallel to the word of God.

ٱقۡرَأۡ بِٱسۡمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ

"Read: In the name of thy Lord Who createth"96:1

Kurzman also gave a false example of a liberal minded muslim figure.He included Yusuf Qaradhawi,a prominent Muslim scholar as also having the idea of liberal Islam.Yusuf Qaradhawi is not a liberal Muslim.

Liberal Islam boasts the inclusive-pluralist theory,which to them all religions are equal.This means that,it does not matter how do you worship God,as long as you are worshipping God,not creature,then you are considered 'a believer',and you are not alien to the religion of Islam.This is totally opposed to what Qaradhawi has said.Qaradhawi,in his book How Islam Views The Christians and The Jews,explains that the infidelity of Christians and Jews,as something that is very much obvious."It(the infidelity of Christians and Jews) is an issue well known to all Muslim individual that possesses the knowledge of Islam,even as big as the size of an atom.This is something that has been unified by all sectors of Muslim,all sets of thinking,all the time;whether it is from the Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah,The Shi'ites,The Mu'tazilahs,and also The Khawarijs."

Kurzman has been wrong in his book.Help yourself,fellow Muslims.Do not be wrong in your head.The Quran and Hadith are the only source of the Islamic knowledge.With that,we'll never be astray,insyaAllah.

Saya Pernah Bercinta

Salam'alaikum.

Kisah Cinta

Saya pernah bercinta.Sekurang-kurangnya saya berasa seperti pernah bercinta.Ya,ada gadisnya,ada perasaannya,ada medium komunikasinya (surat/sms).

Saya bersemangat mencari cinta ketika di sekolah.Saya melakukan macam-macam.Saya cuba menarik perhatian gadis yang pernah saya 'cinta'.Saya sanggup berhabisan wang dan masa.Saya canangkan 'kisah percintaan kami' pada rakan-rakan lain.

Kehidupan saya di sekolah,memang selalu memikirkannya.Saya bahkan pernah mencipta lagu (bukanlah sesedap mana bunyinya) untuk gadis itu.

Pedoman Cinta Al-Quran

Dulu,saya berasa kekosongan.Saya mahu diisi dengan cinta,dengan sayang istimewa.Berterusan selepas itu,gadis-gadis datang dan pergi dalam hidup saya,dan walaupun saya tidaklah bercinta dengan 'percintaan fahaman masyarakat',namun saya tetap terkesan dengan hubungan-hubungan ringkas,berasakan hati pernah terpalit dengan cinta-cinta menghias.

Allah Subhana Wata'ala berfirman dalam surah Al-Baqarah ayat 165:

وَالَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ أَشَدُّ حُبًّا لِلَّهِ
"adapun orang-orang yang beriman,sangat cinta kepada Allah."

Saya terkesan dengan ayat ini ketika serang sahabat membicarakan mengenainya.Bagaimana hati ini dapat menjadi pencinta yang jujur kepada Allah subhanawata'la,seperti yang hanya dimiliki oleh orang-orang yang beriman.Dan,mulanya saya sekadar bersahaja beranggapan bahawa cinta saya terhadap gadis-gadis pasti takkan melebihi cinta saya terhadap Allah.

Soalnya,bagaimana mengukur cinta terhadap gadis-gadis,dan bagaimana pula mengukur cinta terhadap Allah?Akhirnya saya (dan pasti sesetengah daripada anda juga)tenggelam dalam suatu keadaan mengelirukan.Sedang Allah menyuruh menundukkan pandangan sewaktu melihat wanita,sedang suara wanita adalah aurat,sedang berkhayal yang bukan-bukan adalah maksiat,ketika itu kita juga sedang mencintai Allah.Mana mungkin?Tiada logiknya di situ.Biar kita cuba mencari di mana jua,kebathilan dan kebenaran tidak mungkin disekalikan,apatah lagi dimesrakan dengan alasan-alasan tertentu.

Menuju cinta yang lebih benar

Ayuh sahabat-sahabat,terutama yang kononnya percintaan sebelum nikahnya mendekatkan dirinya kepada Allah.Sedarlah itu hanya angan kosong tanpa makna,dan petanda syaitan berjaya menguasai jiwa.Mari menuju cinta Allah.Mari membersihkan hati daripada cinta selain Allah.Doakan saya juga berjaya dalam pencarian ini.

Izinkan saya belajar menulis.Moga-moga nanti dikira Allah subhanawata'la sebagai hujah yang menyelamatkan di akhirat kelak.Allah Maha Pemberi Rahmat.

Kenapa menulis?

Saya beranggapan bahawa menulis adalah jalan terbaik untuk menyampaikan sesuatu mesej yang banyak secara berkesan.saya selalu menghadapi masalah tidak dapat berkomunikasi secara lisan dengan baik kerana mesej-mesej yang kurang tepat disampaikan atau salah dicernakan.Menulis membantu menyusun kerangka pemikiran yang baik,dan sekaligus melenyapkan kebarangkalian keserabutan dalam perhubungan.

kenapa saya terlalu formal?

sejujurnya?saya juga pelik dan tidak faham.mungkin sudah terlalu lama tidak menulis.
